Fleet Process: Proof to Install

Fleet orders follow a four-step process. This ensures every vehicle gets identical branding with zero miscommunication:

1. Consultation. You tell us how many vehicles, what makes and models, what text and branding you need, and whether you want standard or reflective vinyl. We discuss layout, font, and colour options. This takes 10–15 minutes by phone or email.
2. Master Proof. We create a single master proof showing the lettering layout on a representative vehicle. You approve the design, font, colours, and sizing. Changes are unlimited at this stage — we do not cut until you are 100% satisfied.
3. Production. Once approved, we cut every set on our plotter. Each vehicle gets individually packaged lettering kits with the truck number or licence plate marked on the package so your installers know which kit goes on which truck.
4. Shipping & Install. Kits ship with transfer tape, squeegee, and a fleet install guide. Each kit includes a printed install sheet specific to that vehicle type. Most installations take 15–30 minutes per vehicle.

Volume Pricing

Fleet pricing is based on the number of vehicles, the type of lettering (door, tailgate, windshield, or full side), and the material (standard or reflective). Here are representative ranges:

Reflective vinyl adds approximately 50% to the standard vinyl price. All fleet orders include free shipping, a dedicated master proof, individually packaged kits, and a fleet install guide.

What Fleet Lettering Typically Includes

The most common fleet lettering package is doors + rear + optional windshield. Here is what goes where:

Both Doors

Company name (largest), what you do (medium), phone number (large — readable from 10 metres), website (small). Mirrored layout on driver and passenger sides. This is the most visible placement and the one that generates the most calls.

Tailgate / Rear

Phone number (large — this is what the driver behind you sees), company name, and website. The tailgate is the number-one lead generator for service companies — the person stuck behind you in traffic stares at it for minutes at a time.

Windshield (Optional)

Mixed Fleets

Many fleets are not uniform — you might have a mix of pickups, vans, box trucks, and SUVs. We handle this routinely. The master proof defines the brand system (font, colour, text hierarchy), and we adapt the sizing and layout for each vehicle type in the fleet. The result: your branding looks consistent whether it is on an F-350 or a Sprinter.

Fleet branding is never “done.” New trucks get added, old trucks get replaced, and sometimes a decal gets damaged. We keep your fleet files on record indefinitely. When you need a reorder, email or call us with the vehicle number and we cut and ship it — no re-proofing, no design fees, no waiting. The same lettering, the same material, every time.

We also keep batch records so that if your vinyl colour lot changes slightly between production runs (this happens with all vinyl manufacturers), we re-verify colour matching before cutting your reorder.
